The great programming of music, news and sports that you hear on WXPN is only possible with the help of a large team of student interns and work study students. WXPN is a remarkable work environment for motivated and independent individuals. Many students who start working with us their freshman year continue at WXPN until their education is complete.
WXPN welcomes students, particularly from the University of Pennsylvania, to apply for these unpaid internships. Intern applicants need to be available Monday through Friday between the hours of 9am and 5pm. Most internship positions require a minimum commitment of 10 hours per week. Please select only one internship to apply to.
Please note: Due to the large volume of applications, we are unable to notify applicants who are not selected for internships
Internship Application Form (PDF)
To apply for an internship, please send a resume and a completed internship application form (cover letter optional but preferred) to our Volunteer Coordinator. It will take approximately four weeks for your application to be processed. You will be contacted if we require additional application items, such as a writing sample.
