Dan Reed is also the founder (then at WFPK Louisville) and producer of the NON-COMMvention.

The NON-COMMvention has grown to become the premier annual conference for North America's non-commercial Triple A radio stations. It was originally founded as an alternative to the annual commercial Triple A convention, but the event has grown and now hosts a number of adventurous commercial Triple A stations as well.
